Is a drawn signature legally valid?

In the US (ESIGN Act), EU (eIDAS) and most countries a simple electronic signature — an image of your signature placed with intent to sign — is valid for ordinary contracts. Some documents (deeds, wills, certain government forms) require a qualified digital certificate or a wet signature.

Does this add a cryptographic digital signature?

No. It adds a visual signature. Certificate-based signing that shows a verified badge in Acrobat requires a personal certificate and is not part of this tool.

Can I save my signature for next time?

Yes, optionally in your own browser’s storage. It is never sent to us.

Can I add the date and initials too?

Yes. Text boxes, dates, checkmarks and initials can be placed alongside the signature.

About the format
