Text & Code Converters
Binary, Morse, Roman numerals, letter case, number bases and colors. · 9 tools
Tools for students, developers and puzzle fans: binary and Morse translators, Roman numerals, number bases (binary, octal, hex), color codes (HEX, RGB, HSL), letter case conversion, decimal to fraction and data-size units.
These tools are exact, not approximate: encodings follow the standards (UTF-8 for binary, ITU Morse, standard Roman numeral rules, sRGB for color codes), and every page shows the mapping table so you can verify a result by hand or use it for homework.

How to choose
- Binary, hex and bases
- Use the number base converter for values and the binary translator for text; the difference is that text goes through UTF-8 bytes while numbers convert digit by digit. Both show the working.
- Colors
- The color converter moves between HEX, RGB and HSL and previews the swatch, which is what you need for CSS, design tools and game settings that each want a different notation.
- Data sizes and speeds
- Bits and bytes are the usual trap: the data-size and bandwidth converters state which unit is being used and convert between decimal (kB, MB) and binary (KiB, MiB) definitions.
