My statement has no table lines — will it work?

Usually yes. Column positions are inferred from the text alignment. Check the totals afterwards; merged cells and wrapped descriptions are the usual culprits when something is off.

Are numbers converted to real numbers?

Yes, values that look like numbers (including thousands separators and negative signs in parentheses) are stored as numeric cells so formulas work. Dates are kept as text to avoid locale mistakes.

Can it handle a 100-page report?

Yes. Each page with a table becomes a sheet; very large documents take a minute in the browser.

Is the file uploaded?

Why convert PDF to Excel (XLSX)

Copying a table from a PDF viewer usually produces one long column or cells run together. A converter that measures where text sits on the page rebuilds the grid, so numbers land in the right cells and can be summed straight away.

Columns are inferred from where the text sits on the page, which handles the whitespace-aligned tables found in most statements and reports. Each page with a detected table becomes its own sheet, named after the page number. The conversion runs in your browser; scanned PDFs need OCR PDF first.
