Document Converters
Documents move between Word, LibreOffice, web pages and note apps, and each step usually mangles something. These converters map structure — headings, lists, tables, links — rather than copying visual formatting, so the result is editable and clean.
Text-level conversions (DOCX to text or HTML, Markdown to HTML and back) run in your browser. Conversions that need a full office engine (DOC, RTF, ODT, HTML to Word) run on our server, where a LibreOffice engine handles legacy formats reliably.
Pick the converter by the file you have and the app you need it in. Word documents going to the web or a wiki become HTML or Markdown; text written in Markdown becomes a DOCX for people who only use Word; legacy DOC and RTF files become modern formats that every current editor opens.

How to choose
- Editable or exact?
- If you need to keep editing, convert between office formats (DOCX, ODT, RTF). If you need the layout frozen, use the PDF tools instead. HTML and Markdown outputs are deliberately structure-only.
- Old files
- DOC, RTF and WordPerfect-era files are best converted to DOCX once and archived in that form; the converters keep headings, lists and tables so nothing has to be rebuilt by hand.
- Large batches
- Every converter accepts several files at once and returns them as one download, and browser-based conversions have no upload wait because the file never leaves your device.
