Is there a limit on the number of files?

No fixed limit. The merge runs in your browser, so the practical limit is your device’s memory — a few hundred pages is no problem on any modern phone or laptop.

Can I change the order after adding files?

Yes. Drag the thumbnails into the order you want before pressing Merge. You can also remove a file you added by mistake.

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. The combined file is built entirely on your device with a JavaScript PDF library. Nothing is transmitted, which is why the tool also works offline once the page has loaded.

Will form fields and links survive?

Yes. Pages are copied with their content streams, annotations and interactive form fields intact. Identical field names in different files are renamed so they do not collide.

About Merge PDF

Scanners, email and online portals produce PDFs one at a time. A single merged file is easier to send, print and file, and many application forms only accept one attachment.

Merging keeps every page exactly as it was, including text layers, images, links and form fields — pages are copied as objects, not re-rendered, so nothing is recompressed.

Because the merge runs in your browser there is no upload, no queue and no file-size cap set by a server: a 300 MB scan combines as fast as your laptop can read it, and nothing about the document is stored or logged anywhere. Close the tab and the only copy of the merged PDF is the one you downloaded.

About the format
