Which cameras are supported?

Canon (CR2, CR3), Nikon (NEF), Sony (ARW), Fujifilm (RAF), Olympus (ORF), Panasonic (RW2), Pentax (PEF) and DNG from any camera or phone. Very new camera models may take a few weeks to be supported.

Will it look like the JPG from my camera?

Similar but not identical — camera JPGs use the manufacturer’s picture style. This conversion is neutral, which is a better starting point but can look flatter.

Can I batch convert a whole card?

Yes, up to the 500 MB per-upload limit; run several batches for large shoots.

Why convert RAW to JPG

RAW files cannot be viewed on most devices and are 20–60 MB each. A quick, neutral conversion to JPG lets you share and review a shoot without opening Lightroom, while the RAW stays untouched for real editing later.

The conversion demosaics the sensor data, applies the camera’s white balance and a standard tone curve, and embeds an sRGB profile. It aims for a faithful, natural result rather than an automatic “enhanced” look.

About the formats

Unprocessed sensor data from a digital camera: maximum editing latitude, but every brand has its own variant and nothing displays it without conversion.

A RAW file is not an image yet — it needs demosaicing, white balance and tone mapping, which is what the conversion does.
DNG is Adobe’s open RAW container; CR2/CR3 (Canon), NEF (Nikon) and ARW (Sony) are proprietary.
RAW files are typically 20–60 MB each.

JPG · JPEG image · .jpg

The universal photo format: small files, supported by every device, camera and website, but no transparency and slight quality loss on each save.

JPEG compression discards fine detail the eye rarely notices; quality 80–90 is usually indistinguishable from the original at a fraction of the size.
Re-saving a JPG repeatedly adds generation loss, so keep an original and export copies.
JPG has no alpha channel — transparent areas become white or black when converted from PNG.
