30th Celebration release dates
The set does not arrive all at once. Products are released in 5 waves between Sep 16, 2026 and Dec 4, 2026, so a product that is sold out or overpriced today may simply not have had its main shipment yet.

How to judge a fair price
Box prices are hard to compare because every product holds a different number of packs. Price per booster pack fixes that. At MSRP the Booster Bundle works out to $4.49 per pack, the Mini Tin to $5.00, the Elite Trainer Box to $5.55 and the Ultra-Premium Collection to $6.00. Boxes with promo cards, sleeves or other accessories carry a slightly higher per-pack price for that reason. Remember that a 30th Celebration pack holds 5 foil cards, not the usual ten cards.
The calculator uses three bands. Up to 10% above MSRP is a fair price, since shipping and sales tax easily account for the difference. Between 10% and 50% above MSRP is a moderate markup. More than 50% above MSRP is a reseller price: for the Elite Trainer Box that means anything over $74.99, or more than $8.33 per pack.
Why 30th Celebration prices are so high
Demand for the anniversary set has outrun the first shipments, and sealed product that sells out at MSRP reappears on marketplaces at whatever buyers will pay. The chase cards add to the pressure: the Mew cards known as RGB Mew trade for $3,750 to $4,000, which makes every pack feel like a lottery ticket. The effect is not limited to the US. In Finland, shops listed the Elite Trainer Box at EUR 129.90 to EUR 197.90 on Oct 2, 2026, against a European recommended price of about EUR 59.99.
Tips for buying at MSRP
- Buy from retailers, not marketplaces. Large retailers and the Pokémon Center sell at MSRP, usually with a per-customer limit, and many local game stores do the same for regular customers. Marketplace listings are resale prices.
- Use the later waves. The Battle Decks (Oct 30, 2026), the Ultra-Premium Collection (Nov 6, 2026) and the Pokémon ex Tins (Dec 4, 2026) are still to come, and preorders are normally taken at MSRP.
- Set a ceiling before you shop. Decide on a maximum per-pack price, for example 10% above the MSRP figure in the table, and check every offer against it with the calculator.
- Want one card? Buy the single. The pull rate calculator shows how many packs a specific card takes on average, and the card list with chase card prices shows what the card costs on its own.
MSRP figures are the US prices published for each product and were last checked on Oct 2, 2026. Retailers are free to set their own prices. For older cards, see the Pokémon card value checker.
