GTA 6 Countdown

Rockstar Games has confirmed November 19, 2026. The game launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Take-Two reconfirmed the date in May 2026.

Rockstar has not published a country-by-country unlock schedule, so the exact time is not known. Storefront listings have been reported to point at a single global unlock around 05:00 UTC, but conflicting times circulate online. The countdown lets you pick which assumption to use: local midnight or the reported global unlock.

No PC version has been announced. Rockstar has not confirmed a PC release, a launch window, or system requirements. GTA V arrived on PC roughly a year and a half after its console launch, but that is not a promise about this game.

Digital preload opens on November 12, 2026 — one week before launch — so the game can finish downloading before it unlocks.

Yes, twice. It was originally targeted for 2025, then moved to May 26, 2026, and finally to November 19, 2026. Rockstar apologized for the delay and said the extra months go into polish.

GTA V launched on September 17, 2013, leaving 13 years and 2 months between releases. The first trailer arrived on December 4, 2023, so nearly three years passed even after the reveal.
